Welcome!!
I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Kyungpook National University (KNU), Daegu, South Korea, where I also serve as the Deputy Director of the National Research Center for Nonlinear Dynamics & Mathematical Application Center (NDMAC).
I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wyoming in 2015 under the supervision of Professor Farhad Jafari who is currently a faculty at Department of Radiology, University of Minnesota. Prior to that, I received my B.S. (2006) and M.S. (2012) degrees in Mathematics from Kyungpook National University.
From 2015 to 2018, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Information Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University, China, under the mentorship of Professor Yuanming Shi.
My research interests include matrix analysis, numerical linear algebra, and large-scale data analysis, with applications to machine learning, data mining, and communication. I am currently leading and participating in multiple research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Rural Development Administration.
